Cheetahs. Cheetahs eat turtles and deer. And they can run to 70 miles. ANd they are the fastest animal in the wild. And they are the family of the jaguars and a tiger is the enemy of the cheetah. And they can jump high. Their teeth is sharp like a sharpy horn. And the cheetah they live in the savannah, but the fastest cheetah is the king cheetah. It can run at about to 99 miles per hour. There is about 100 cheetahs and the jaguar is a little stronger than a king cheetah. They live in short places. The End.

michael There is el Dia de los Muertos. And there is no Halloween. There is some cowboys. The cowboys live in Mexico. There is some old schools. They do notes in Mexico. Like some Americans go to Mexico.

brian The name is El Salvador. And there it takes five hours to get there. When you walk on it, you feel like you are going to fall over. And this is the difference between America and El Salvador. If you trip and you are from Salvador, you keep running. ANd for American, if you fall, you have to call 911. There's some food that are from here that are in El Salvador. There are frijoles, tortillas, tacos, soup, and popusas. And sometimes if you are by yourself, it can be dangerous. This is how we celebrate, we celebrate by fireworks. And this is the only country I know. It's Tocollo. Ten years ago, there was a giant earthquake. They speak Hispanic. And they are like these men and they do this weird stuff. And I bet there are like ten thousand rocks. It's great to live in El Salvador.

He likes sleeping on his bed. He plays hide and go seek with me. We go to the pool. We like jumping on my trampoline. And he likes to ride bikes with my mom.

kassandra I like German Shepherds. They come from Germany. They work with armies and polices. They look cute when they are little. They grow fast. I want to get a German Shepherd for christmas. Their teeth are really sharp. They are nice and mean to bad people. In polices, they use German Shepherds for the people doesn't come out or hiding something in their car. They protect us from snakes. They catch a fish. There are quick runners. They are fun to play.

Welcome to Let's Talk!

This is our online class journal.  I would like for you to write on this journal from time to time about topics that are interesting to you and I would like for you to talk about your language learning adventure.  I look forward to learning about you and learning from you.  I will often respond to your posts, but there may be times when I am unable to respond to everyone.  Please only put your first name when posting for your safety.  I feel blessed to have each and every one of you in my class.

Parents, please rest assured that I will be approving all comments before they are posted for the public to see.  This will protect your student from an unsafe environment.  Also, the students will be observed while writing on this blog in class to ensure that they are not wandering to dangerous places.  The school also blocks unsafe material.  I would like to ask you to please monitor your student's activity online at home as well.  The online environment can be unsafe for minors when there is no supervision.
